Pick one of three ways in, by how you play.

CurseForge app

For players who use the CurseForge app. Download the MAXXMods CurseForge pack (MAXXMods-1.21.1-curseforge.zip, 274 MB), then in the app choose Create Custom Profile, then Import. Set the profile's allocated memory to at least 8 GB in its settings.

Modrinth app, Prism Launcher or ATLauncher

For players who use one of these launchers. Download the MAXXMods Modrinth pack (MAXXMods-1.21.1.mrpack, 85 MB), then open it in the launcher or drag it in. Set the instance's memory to at least 8 GB in its settings.

AutoModpack, for a hand-made profile

For players who manage their own NeoForge profile and want the server to install the mods.

  1. Install NeoForge 21.1.244 for Minecraft 1.21.1.
  2. Put the AutoModpack jar (automodpack-mc1.21.1-neoforge-4.0.6.jar, the build the server runs) in that profile's mods folder.
  3. Give the profile at least 8 GB of memory, for example -Xmx8G or the launcher's memory slider.
  4. Join maxx.experiment.al and accept the download.
